Omega Group deployed a virtual AR anatomy lab at Medical University, Pleven. The system includes 20 VR/AR headsets, through which students study human anatomy in mixed and virtual reality.
- 13,000+ anatomical structures with detailed descriptions for deep understanding of the body systems
- Multi-User mode for joint sessions and lectures in real time (up to 100 participants)
- DICOM Viewer for visualisation of CT/MRI and 3D reconstructions directly in VR
- Web Test Manager for tests, automated assessment and statistics
- Hand Tracking and intuitive tools for manipulating 3D models
Project goals
To provide a modern, practice-oriented environment for anatomy training that increases student engagement, facilitates mastering complex structures and connects anatomical knowledge with clinical imaging studies. The solution is ready to scale to other faculties and programmes.
