Installation of photovoltaic systems with local battery storage at 16 sites. The goal is energy independence, on-site generation and storage of electricity, covering the building's needs and reducing operating costs. The project falls under the MLSP programme for modernising social services, funded by NRRP, "REPowerEU" chapter.
- Photovoltaic systems with capacity from 15 kW to 120 kW depending on the site
- Battery storage with 1:1 capacity ratio to installed PV power
- Connection to the building's existing electrical installation
- Beneficiaries: municipalities with delegated state activity in the social sphere
Energy independence
The combination of PV plus matching battery allows the care facility to cover a large share of its own consumption during the day and store the surplus for evening hours. The programme target is to reduce non-renewable consumption by at least 30% annually.
