Sana, Omega Group project
Unified drug registry for Bulgaria.
Clinical answers with citation to the original source. Sana unifies 11 registries in one interface, with full coverage of medications registered in Bulgaria.
01. The problem, global view
Medication errors don't finance treatment, they cover the consequences.
The cost of medication errors worldwide amounts to 528 billion US dollars annually, nearly one percent of all healthcare spending in the world.
These funds do not finance treatment. They cover the consequences of errors that could often have been avoided.

01. The problem, the reality in Bulgaria
The information is scattered.
It exists, spread across 11 different registries, each with its own interface, format and language. PDFs without structure. Summaries of Product Characteristics published as scanned images. Text that is not machine-searchable.
02. The solution, scope
One source for drug information in Bulgaria.
With citation to the original behind every statement. Sana unifies eleven verified sources in one interface.
02. The solution, how it works
One screen, full profile.
From question to answer, entirely within the registry. No tabs, no PDFs, no browsing of scanned documents.
01. Search
By INN, ATC or ICD-10 code.
One screen shows status, reimbursement, pregnancy, renal correction, interactions, price and signals for additional monitoring.
02. Treatment plan
You add medications one by one.
Sana automatically checks for interactions across the entire plan. Dose corrections based on renal function and age update instantly.
03. Clinical assistant
You ask a clinical question.
The answer is extracted only from verified sources. Each statement is returned with citation to the paragraph in the original document.
02. Example, drug profile
Full profile in one place.
Drug profile
Sacubitril / valsartan
Sources, SmPC from BDA, EPAR from EMA, NHIF pricing module
03. Clinical answers
Each statement is returned with citation to the paragraph.
Sana is designed for traceability. Every clinical answer opens the original paragraph, in the moment, for the physician's verification.
When the source contains no answer, Sana refuses rather than fabricates. Silence is also clinical information.
"I cannot find information about this combination, neither in the SmPC of products registered in Bulgaria nor in the active medical standards. Please rephrase the question or consult the treating physician."
04. Regulatory position
Reference. Not advisor.
The therapeutic decision remains the responsibility of the treating physician.
What Sana does
- Surfaces what the registered source says
- Cites the specific paragraph in the original
- Sorts by INN, ATC and ICD-10 code
- Calculates validated clinical scales
- Syncs with the Positive Drug List every 14 days
What Sana does not do
- Does not recommend treatment for a specific patient
- Does not make a diagnosis
- Is not a medical device under Regulation (EU) 2017/745
- Does not replace clinical judgment
- Does not read patient records, we work with the medication, not the record
